4th Annual Chattahoochee Valley Military Appreciation Golf Tournament

The Ranger Legacy Foundation was deeply honored to be chosen as the beneficiary of the 4th Annual Chattahoochee Valley Military Appreciation Golf Tournament.

WLTZ NBC 38 and The CW GA-BAMA have made military support a true cornerstone of who they are. It’s evident not only in their programming, but in the hearts of the people behind the scenes. Every interaction reflected genuine respect, professionalism, and care... and we left deeply impressed.

Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors, we were presented with a generous check, but even more meaningful was the opportunity to share the stories of our Rangers with a broader audience. Stories of bravery, dedication, and sacrifice that continue to inspire us all.

Our Chairman, Jeff Struecker, opened the tournament with enthusiasm and conviction, setting the tone for the day. A veteran-owned company capped his prayer with an unforgettable flyover that brought the meaning of the moment home.

Despite challenges from the government shutdown and weather, the WLTZ team never wavered. Their commitment and adaptability reflected the very spirit of service we all came to celebrate.

CSM (Ret.) Gerald Klein gave an authentically colorful keynote, offering a vivid, firsthand look at Operation Urgent Fury — a reminder of how Ranger legacy and storytelling remain intertwined.

We never want to simply show up; our goal is to leave behind a quiet but lasting reminder that Rangers embody the preservation of freedom.

This event reminded us how community should be done — volunteers, businesses, media, youth, and military all coming together with a shared purpose. Northside High School’s color guard and band brought pride and spirit, while Spencer High School students showed gracious hospitality throughout the course.

To everyone who made this day possible: thank you for allowing us to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

If your organization, company, or community is looking for meaningful ways to honor service and legacy, we’d be honored to join you. Together, we can continue to tell the stories that keep our shared history alive and our communities connected.
