2026 Ranger Hall of Fame MOI

On Monday, November 3, 2025, the Ranger Hall of Fame committee released the Memorandum of Instruction for the 2026 Ranger Hall of Fame process. This Memorandum of Instruction was sent out to the Ranger Hall of Fame voting board and simultaneously posted on the Ranger Legacy Foundation website for the public to access.

Eligibility
To be considered for induction, a nominee must be deceased, retired, or separated from active military service for at least three years at the time of nomination. Eligible individuals must have either:

For the purposes of the Hall of Fame, a Ranger unit is defined as any Army unit recognized in official Ranger lineage or history. Achievements in state or national government following military service may also be taken into account.

Honorary Induction
Individuals who do not meet the traditional criteria may still be honored if they have made extraordinary contributions to Ranger units, Ranger organizations or the wider Ranger community.

Nomination Process
Read the MOI first. Nominations may only be submitted by approved nominating units, organizations, or RHOF members. If you are not representative of a qualified entity, please connect with an eligible nominating unit, organization, or member before proceeding with your packet.

Return completed packets to rhofnoms@gmail.com. The 2026 nomination closes on February 6, 2026. Voting will take place on April 17, 2026. The RangerHall of Fame dinner is scheduled for June 23, 2026 and the Ranger Hall of Fame Ceremony is scheduled for June 24, 2026.
