Legacy Summit 2027: Where Competition Meets Character

What we practice shapes how we lead. Preparation, perseverance, humility, and respect matter on the mat, within our families, and throughout our communities.

That belief is at the heart of Legacy Summit, coming September 23–26, 2027, to the Frank G. Lumpkin Center at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. Created in partnership with FUJI BJJ, the gathering welcomes Rangers, veterans, athletes, first responders, families, students, and the broader community.

Competition with Purpose

A FUJI BJJ tournament anchors the Summit, with the Ranger Legacy Foundation serving as its beneficiary. Alongside competition, the event will offer opportunities for training, education, leadership conversations, and community connection.

Royce Gracie

We are excited to welcome Royce Gracie as an instructor at Legacy Summit. His participation will give attendees an opportunity to learn directly from him, bringing another meaningful dimension to an experience centered on discipline, preparation, and personal growth. Gracie is a member of the Gracie jiu-jitsu family, a UFC Hall of Famer, and is considered to be one of the most influential figures in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA).

Building a Living Legacy

Legacy Summit brings the Foundation’s mission into action. It creates opportunities to share Ranger experiences, connect generations, and introduce young people to examples of character and service. It also begins building the community envisioned for the future Ranger Legacy Center.

Be Part of It

Come compete, learn, volunteer, sponsor, or bring your community. Registration opens in late November 2026. Visit the Legacy Summit page for updates and ways to get involved.
